ATS-Friendly Resume Checklist That Does Not Rely on Keyword Stuffing
The safest ATS strategy is fairly boring: make the resume easy to read, keep the structure predictable and be specific about what you did. You can still make it look good. Just do not hide important information inside the design.

Structure
A recruiter and a parser should both be able to understand the page without guessing.
- Name and contact details near the top.
- Experience in a clear order.
- Education, skills and projects under obvious headings.
- A short summary only when it adds useful context.
Formatting
Use real text for anything important. After exporting the file, check that columns, icons and spacing did not scramble the reading order.
Content
When you claim an impact, add enough context for the reader to understand your part in it. A number without context is not automatically a stronger bullet.

Before you submit
Read the parsed version once, check the role requirements you actually meet and remove anything you would not be comfortable explaining in an interview.
