Interview Readiness: Prepare to Explain the Claims That Matter
The best place to start interview prep is your own application. Anything that makes you look especially strong is also something an interviewer may ask you to explain in more detail.

Mark the claims that invite questions
Look for bullets about measurable impact, ownership, leadership, architecture, revenue, growth, reliability or a major launch.
Know your part
For each important claim, be ready to separate what you did from what the rest of the team, a vendor, a template or an existing system did.
- What was the problem?
- What did you decide or build?
- What alternatives did you consider?
- How did you measure the result?
- What would you change now?
Prepare for gaps too
If the job asks for something your resume does not show, think through an honest answer. Adjacent experience is worth mentioning when it is genuinely relevant.
Do not memorize a script
A good interview answer should survive follow-up questions. Learn the facts, decisions and trade-offs behind the work instead of memorizing a polished paragraph.
