This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for developing and scaling Astera Labs' Global EH&S program while driving emergency preparedness and crisis management initiatives across our worldwide footprint. You will partner closely with Real Estate & Workplace, Safety & Security, Facilities, Legal, HR, and business leaders to create safe, compliant, and resilient work environments that support innovation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who thrives in a fastpaced, high-growth environment. You are passionate about building programs from the ground up, influencing organizations, and creating a culture where safety and preparedness are embedded into everything we do. The Real Estate & Workplace team creates the environments, programs, and experiences that enable Astera Labs employees to do their best work. We partner across the company to ensure our offices, labs, and workplaces are safe, scalable, and prepared for the future. As a leader within this organization, you will establish and drive a global EH&S strategy while strengthening emergency preparedness and crisis response capabilities across our offices and laboratory environments worldwide. Own and continuously evolve Astera Labs' global Environmental Health & Safety strategy, policies, standards, and programs. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and international EH&S regulations. Develop scalable EH&S governance frameworks, processes, and performance metrics to support company growth. Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to reduce operational risk.
