As a Project Delivery Engineer in the AI Engineering team, you will sit at the intersection of engineering, technology, and client delivery. Supporting AECOM's AI design platform, you will help shape product development, assure the quality of engineering outputs and work directly with customers to capture and translate requirements into practical deliverables. It is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who is technically credible across MEP, detail-driven, and genuinely curious about how technology can change existing ways of working. Technical Leadership & Client Engagement – Apply broad MEP engineering expertise to review designs and calculations, translate client requirements into deliverables, manage stakeholder relationships, and coordinate priorities to support successful project delivery. Product Delivery & Quality Assurance : Test and evaluate product features, provide engineering-led feedback to developers, identify and help resolve defects, and ensure design outputs meet quality standards before being issued to clients. Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Champion the adoption of AI and emerging technologies, leverage digital tools to improve delivery, and help shape new ways of working that enhance engineering efficiency and quality across AECOM. Qualifications & Experience : HNC, HND, or degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with proven experience designing and/or reviewing MEP systems. MEP Engineering Expertise : Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, with the ability to review design information and assess the suitability of MEP calculations and outputs.
