Employer description & source details
We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager who can work across engineering, product, and business teams. You’ll bring the technical judgment to earn engineers’ trust and the ability to create clarity and momentum across complex programs. This is a hands-on role with executive visibility and direct impact on how Ramp’s engineering organization scales. You’re energized by complexity and curious about how AI can improve the way engineering teams work. You experiment with AI tools yourself, understand how they are changing software development, and bring that perspective to the programs you lead. Lead large technical programs across engineering and partner teams, from infrastructure scaling to reliability and incident response. Connect platform and product engineering teams, keep context flowing, surface dependencies, and drive effective execution. Own programs from scoping and kickoff through delivery, measurement, and retrospective. Partner with engineering leaders on roadmaps, identify how projects overlap or depend on one another, and keep programs aligned with organizational goals. Help engineers, engineering managers, and partner teams communicate business and engineering priorities across the organization. Strengthen Ramp’s incident response program by improving processes, facilitating retrospectives, and helping teams act on what they learn. Help define how TPMs work at Ramp by setting standards, creating playbooks, and improving program practices. 5+ years of technical program management experience, ideally in a high-growth startup. Hands-on fluency with AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, and a point of view on how they can improve day-to-day work and software development. The ability to execute directly while improving how the broader team works. A track r
