Employer description & source details
Document current-state investment data processes end to end – inputs, systems, hand-offs, controls, and downstream uses – and design clear future-state processes. Work closely with investment teams to understand how data is used in their research and production workflows, translate their timeliness and quality needs into process requirements, and prioritize improvements that matter most to investment outcomes. Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, address common points of failure, and improve the timeliness and quality of data delivered to investment processes across security master, pricing master, and ETL processes. Partner with the technology team to automate manual workflows and scheduled processes, and support testing and implementation of process changes. Identify, assess, and escalate process risks; recommend and implement appropriate controls, checks, and exception monitoring. Produce clear process artifacts such as process maps, RACI matrices, procedures, runbooks, and best-practice guides. Define and track process metrics (e.g., timeliness, exception volumes, manual touchpoints, data delivery times) to measure improvement and support data service levels for investment teams. Work with subject-matter experts and process owners to roll out new processes and help downstream users understand and adopt them. Support investment data projects, including platform transitions and affiliate/client onboarding, by bringing a process lens to requirements, design, and readiness. A degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related analytical field. Training in process design or improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an asset; progress toward a designation such as the CFA or FRM is an asset. 3+ years of experience in pr
