Lead the electrical services design on projects, ensuring alignment with corporate, technical and client standards. Collaborate with other design team members, such as architects, structural engineers, specialist consultants, clients, and project managers. Contribute to external project related meetings, demonstrating both project knowledge and technical excellence through design presentations and technical design notes. You will be responsible for presenting your work to clients and design team members where necessary. Have a good knowledge of buildability & construction techniques. Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills. In-depth knowledge of BIM/digitalization techniques and standards. Proficiency in software tools such as Trimble (Amtech), Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, REVIT, and Navisworks. Excellent knowledge of local and international design standards such as BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE and NFPA. Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, covering HV/LV power distribution, lightning protection, general & emergency lighting, ELV systems (ICT, fire, security), and fire life safety (FLS) design. Experience with sustainable design practices and emerging technologies.
